How Swing Plane Influences Posture

HOW SWING PLANE INFLUENCES YOUR POSTURE

Are you having a tough time staying in your posture through the hitting area?  Do you tend to find yourself standing up or coming out of your shots and can’t seem to find the fix?

In this month’s video analysis, Dave takes a closer look at how Michelle Wie’s swing plane helps her to maintain great posture through the hitting area:

In Summary:
1.) During the downswing, stop the camera where your left arm is just about parallel to the ground.  At this point make sure the angle of the shaft is pointing slightly outside the target line.  Also, make sure your hands are much closer to your right shoulder than your left from the “down the target line” view.

2.) Doing this will flatten out your downswing which will encourage you to stay in your posture while you extend your arms through the hitting area.
