Now is the time to start getting ready for the 2019 season! Whether your goal is to be one of the best in the world or simply fix your most prevalent ball flight mistake, the process of “owning” any aspect of your new swing is the same regardless of your skill level.

Understanding these 5 Steps To “Owning Your Swing” will help you to set realistic goals and stay motivated:

1). Have a plan. Understand exactly what your body needs to do in your swing to achieve your goals as a player.

2). Use specific practice swings to rehearse and learn the correct feelings that will lead to a desired ball flight.

3). Develop the ability to successfully pull off your new swing on the driving range.

4). Transfer your new ball flight to the golf course.

5). Take ownership. Consistently perform the new swing that produces the desired ball flight under pressure on the course.

As you go through each step, realize that your results are simply information to be observed. Keep in mind that your most dominant swing habits tend to show up under pressure. The great news is, the more focused practice you put in, the more dominant your new swing habits will become. This will give you the best chance to be the golfer you’ve always wanted to be!
